Fields Good 2026 at The Sheddings

Fields Good is a one-day festival held at a working farm within Glenarm Castle Estate, bringing together farmers, growers, and food lovers to explore agriculture.

Expert speakers, hands-on demos, field walks, and good food. Everything is rooted in the belief that healthy soil is the foundation for a future of healthy farms & healthy food.

Fields Good brings farmers, growers and experts together. The conversation starts with soil and ripples out into every corner of your farm business, from animal health and water quality to agroforestry and selling direct. With three speaker stages, practical demos, a field walk, exhibitors, food, beer and music, it’s an unmissable day that gives you ideas you can put to work straight away.

Healthy soil isn’t just good practice.
It’s your best asset.

Come for the field walks, stay for the demos, and leave with a plan to make your soil work harder for you.

Fields Good — It All Starts With The Soil

If you’ve ever wondered whether there’s a more cost-effective, resilient way to farm, one that works with your land rather than against it, Fields Good is worth a day of your time.

This isn’t a conference full of theory. It’s a festival on a working farm where farmers, growers and experts share what’s actually working on the ground; practical, honest conversations about soil health, animal health, water quality, inputs, agroforestry, direct selling and more. Whether you farm conventionally or are already exploring new approaches, you’ll leave with ideas you can take straight back to your farm.

WHAT’S ON Three speaker stages run talks all day covering topics that touch every corner of your farm business, from reducing input costs and improving animal health to managing water and exploring new markets. Speakers include farmers, researchers, agronomists and industry voices sharing real experience, not just ideas.

Beyond the stages, you’ll find:

  • Soil Health HQ — composting demos, soil microscopy and Korean Natural Farming techniques
  • Agroforestry Tent — practical insights into integrating trees into farm systems
  • Horticulture Tent — for growers and those curious about diversification
  • Hands-on demos and field walks — see it, touch it, ask questions
  • Exhibitors — from soil testing labs to equipment and service providers

EVENING SOCIAL Stay on after the talks for food, drinks and good company around the fire. Camping is available to book on site, make a full day and night of it.

You don’t have to be “regen” to come to Fields Good. You just need to be curious about your soil and what it could mean for your farm’s future.
