Open Play Sessions at Glenarm Castle Dog Park

Looking for a fun way for your dog to socialise with others of the same breed? Join us for our Open Play Sessions at Glenarm Castle’s Dog Park!

Held on selected weekends throughout the summer, these open play sessions are designed to bring together some of our most popular dog breeds, giving them plenty of space to run, play and make new furry friends in our secure dog park.

Don’t see your dog’s breed on our schedule? We’d love to hear from you! Email us your preferred dog breed to welcome@glenarmcastle.com or share a photo of your pup with us on social media with your suggestion for the next open play session.

Before You Visit

To help everyone enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience, please note:

  • Please arrive in plenty of time. The Dog Park is approximately a five-minute walk from our main car park, situated off the Straidkilly Road.
  • These are open play sessions, and some dogs may enjoy energetic, boisterous play. If your dog prefers a quieter environment or isn’t comfortable playing with unfamiliar dogs, we recommend booking a private session instead.
  • The Dog Park is also available for private hire outside of our scheduled open play sessions, providing a secure space for your dog to exercise at their own pace. To book into one of them please click here.

Make a Day of It

After your dog’s adventure, why not visit The Potting Shed? Treat your four-legged friend to a delicious puppuccino or make use of the complimentary dog wash station before heading home.

We’re also delighted to welcome your four-legged friends to our Walled Garden Tea Room. With beautiful outdoor spaces to explore, your dog can enjoy the fresh air just as much as you do.

Visitors are welcome to take leisurely strolls with their dogs through our award-winning Walled Garden, tranquil woodland areas, and other designated outdoor spaces across the estate.
