Adding to the experience is the Tea Room’s unique setting. Housed in the estate’s historic old mushroom house, this characterful building was once used to cultivate mushrooms in cool, dark conditions. Today, it offers a warm and welcoming space full of charm – the perfect spot to relax and refuel during your visit.
Visitors can also enjoy their food in the Tea Room outdoor seating area, making the most of the beautiful surroundings on brighter days. Meanwhile, Glenarm Castle members have exclusive access to a private outdoor seating space overlooking the Kitchen Garden – an ideal place to unwind and take in the scenery.

To keep everyone safe and happy, we ask that dogs remain on a lead and are well-behaved while enjoying the space. Please note that pups are not permitted inside the main Tea Room, so make sure they’re supervised in the dog-friendly zone while you collect your delicious drinks and treats. If you are a solo visitor with a dog, please ask our staff to assist with your order
