more unique than The Sheddings at River Lodge. Set in the heart of the Glenarm Castle Estate,
the venue overlooks 1500 acres of stunning ancient woodland and greenery, with
the Glenarm River meandering peacefully throughout the grounds.
A luxurious stretch tent marquee, affixed to the rustic River Lodge building, creates a trendy, welcoming and spacious venue that is perfect for any wedding. It seats
up to 200 guests comfortably but is equally intimate and equipped for smaller receptions
and occasions. From saying ‘I Do’, to capturing those special moments, enjoying a
first class meal, and partying the night away, this exclusive location accommodates
for a day you will never forget with your nearest and dearest.
Ceremony
The Sheddings at River Lodge have the perfect dedicated outdoor space to host your wedding ceremony. Say ‘I do’ beside the stunning Glenarm River with the scenic valley surrounding you and your loved ones.
Perhaps you would like to be married in the castle itself. Glenarm Castle is available to host your wedding ceremony and/or drinks reception for up to 80 guests, overseen by the Castle Butler. We are licensed for both religious and civil ceremonies and provide the perfect intimate space for the occasion.
The Walled Garden
Glenarm Castle’s Walled Garden and other picturesque locations throughout the Estate provide the perfect location for your official wedding photographs.

Accommodation
Ocean View Pods
Start the celebrations with friends and family or finish off your day with each other by settling into our 4* Ocean View Pods. Each pod is individually decorated, reflecting the surroundings, but all feature an expansive glazed entrance, shower room, and somewhere to sit and relax. Our 9 pods are set within the grounds of this family-owned 17th-century castle. A tranquil place to stay on a hill-top site overlooking the Glenarm Castle Estate.
